“Installed” a Baron Slip on for my Yamaha about R Spec 2021.  I noticed that the bolts that align with the frame to HOLD the slip on makes a gap from the actual connection.  I did not see any gasket when I removed my stock exhaust, but moving forward, is this gap okay? Or how can I fix this?

I don’t mind the sound but I just want to know if this is okay for my engine? And yes I can feel the exhaust “kicking some air” through that little gap but I’ve not noticed any liquids leaking.

The gasket usually stays inside the muffler. You can try to get it out in one piece or just order a new one.

Okay so will the gasket be applied inside the slip on or on the outside?
