interchangeable shocks
« on: May 15, 2020, 01:15:37 am »
hey guys,

how interchangeable are shocks from other bikes? I'm looking to raise my rear end. Looking for 13.5" or 14" shocks.

Hi
Some of us installed Hagon ones in order to raise the rear.
I know the could make them  as long as you wish but there is a limit due the tension of the drive belt...
Not sure if the company is still in the USA being them from the UK.
Try to check their site.
Obviously these fit perfectly on our bikes.
Hope this helps.
Ciao.

I ordered the Hagons, strongly recommend. They are built specifically for our bike so no concerns with fitment or using a "one size fits all" shock.

That's about the product itself, here is a copy/paste from a previous post I made about their exceptional customer service. This was pre-Covid so I imagine it's a different situation right now but they were awesome:

Sales was extremely helpful and fast to respond considering 8 hour time difference. I placed my order Monday 8am (their shop opening time in England) and Wednesday evening the shocks were on my front porch when I get home. In Seattle. Shipping was $71 USD but it was all part of the budget of the shocks for me. Total cost shipped was about $300 USD.

Call their shop in England, just outside London. Read my review above.

I just looked on the Hagon site and didn't see a listing for the XV950/bolt
