hello yammie boys and girls...err fellow bolters

My bolt started acting up. Im a new rider and im still learning and i dont ride as much as I should and would like to.
One night i got back from a small ride and next night when i tried to start it up my 2014 Yamaha Bolt clicking cracking sizzling but would not start.

I thought maybe the battery finally crapped out.( it would always start even after 2-3 months)
but this time its different.

I got a trickle charger and it goes green after 15-20 mins and bolt still wont start.

I took the battery to autozone and the autozone manager said the battery is in between weak and okay.

I tried jump starting the bolt and it didnt help.

do you still think its the battery?

any advice is very much appreciated.

Sounds like the battery doesn't have enough charge to start the bike.  Especially if autozone said it's between weak and ok.  And especially if that's the original battery from 2014.  If you have a voltmeter you can check the charge, I believe you need at least 12.7 volts to start (it's been a while so I could be mistaken here, could be a little bit higher charge needed, do a quick search to confirm).  Anyway buying a cheap $10 voltmeter might help you save some cash instead of buying a new battery if it turns out it's not the battery, and it's a good tool to have in the toolbox.  I'd be surprised if it's not the battery...please update this thread when you find out what the issue is.
