I can't find what I'm looking for
« on: May 08, 2020, 12:34:59 pm »
Hi everyone, sincerely apologise for being repetitive, I'm sure it's been discussed a billion times, if someone can answer or even link me to post on direct fit led replacement signal bulbs, in contact with autolumination, but I don't have the bulb number, if any over can help please, I'm trying to replace front and rear bulbs. Again I'm new, and get lost of this forum

I may act childish, but I'm an adult so I can do what I want.

There are a lot of people that went with Custom Dynamics replacement bulbs. The front can be white driving and turn signals, while the rear will normal.
You'll have to Google them.
Be safe and Bolt on.

They discontinued the Custom Dynamics part that was direct fitment for our bike.

I was able to make it work with a different product and a dremel to grind it down to size. Here is my post on it:

I used https://www.superbrightleds.com/ they have a bulb finder. Just input your year and model and it pulls up compatible bulbs.

Good luck finding LED bulbs that fit those sockets. Most places don't even have the stock incandescents.

Worse yet the stock reflector is the wrong shape to make any coherent beam out of an LED installed in there.
Its almost a requirement to have a day maker -
I am working on making a bracket to fit a day maker into the stock bucket with the stock left/right and up/down adjusters. Well, that is, before we all got attacked with the Kung flu. Or is that Klung fu.
Anyway something may be happening as we speak … or not.

Cool.
Srinath.

Thanks everyone, I'll search bulb, and keep looking, for now guess I'll just keep my incandescent bulbs.
