I 've seen it. Very interesting. Cheap and good sound.

I and not sure to do it and could be expensive to repair in case of trouble. We have a law against loud motorcycle. So if it is too loud I will be in obligation to fix it...

Well then, it looks like you can be the first outside of Low and Mean to try this.  :)

They say the computer will compensate for it, but I am not sure.  Not experienced with fuel injected bikes.  Does modifying the exhaust effect your warranty?  What about intake?

I kinda like this gas cap ring. Would look good in black.

Mouse - that looks TOO COOL - and so appropriate for the bike! A big nut on the tank to match the even bigger nut on the seat!  ;D  Where'd you find it?

I think I'd prefer mine in brass, though - since I'm getting all the brass trim, anyways.  I'm still trying to figure out how to make the chrome disappear on the fuel cap itself, though. A black or brass cap would look SO much better with the look I'm going for.

I wonder if I could find a big chunk of solid brass - I could get it machined - just tall enough to hide the real filler cap inside...... Hmmmmmmmmm   Now the gears start turning....

That's from Low 'n Mean. They've got it on their facebook page. Could post there about getting one in brass; I didn't even think about going that route!

So I'm in a pickle... I wanted to try out Low and Means exhaust workaround, drilling holes for increased exhausted note and tone... But the hex bolts that hold the cap on are insanely tight?

Did anyone who tried this mod have this issue?  Is there a magic fix to this?

Mine were super tight, almost felt like I was going to break the allen wrench. Probably the easiest way would be with a ratchet and a ratchet hex head. I just turned the hell out of mine with the allen wrench from the Bolt's tool set.

Don't waste your time with the 5 3/8 or 1/2 holes. But a hole saw with an extension and drill out the back of the baffle. Much better result, less work.
