Baron Slash Cut Slip On Exhaust, Wow What A Difference!
« on: June 04, 2020, 01:57:26 pm »
I purchased this pipe in the off season, February, via Amazon for $212. I finally got to do the installation yesterday and not only does it sound fantastic but the overall performance of my 2018 Bolt has increased substantially and noticably. The stock muffler is crazy heavy and the back pressure and power reduction for EPA reasons causes a huge drag on the V -Twin's overall capability. The installation was fairly simple other than the metal mesh gasket you are to re-use from the stock muffler. Mine did not just slide out. It was glued into the muffler with a fire proof adhesive. Thus, I had to slowly and patiently pry it away with a small flat head screw driver. Once out, I had to press it down on the receiving portion of the exhaust with a pair of large pliers and slightly tap out the flanges of the Baron pipe. The fitment of the Baron pipe is exact so take your time. Once completed, no regrets, super satisfied and worth every penny!
