As title says, looking to buy an MC Enterprises or Baron engine guard.
Anyone have them on their Bolts, how are they?
Preferred these 2 engine guards than the OEM Yamaha Guards or the Hepco and Becker guards because they're a full loop and not 2 individual ones like the OEM and HB ones. Also they dont attach to the frame its self and thus dont run the risk of bending it or damaging it due to force of impact.

MC Enterprises has been around a long time. That's what I'd go with. Especially if the Barons slip-on is typical of their quality.

I've never bought anything from Baron that I've liked. I recently bought Baron engine guards for my Roadliner and sent them back, I went with Cobra Bars instead.

The Cobra bars were for my Roadliner (not my Bolt). They were the last Baron product I bought but not the first Baron product I was unhappy with. Sorry for the confusion.

your good, gotcha yeah, even though one or both of the engine guards I'm looking at have a section that clamps onto the frame I'm not going to attach that one, just going to attach it by the 2 on each side

Any of these work with forward controls?

asarms87, I'm not sure as I'm not planning on getting forward controls, however, if you use the search tool on the forum (top left of the page) and type in engine guard or forward controls I know that a bunch of ppl have responded to that matter : )
