Maintenance Spreadsheet
« on: February 29, 2016, 03:17:17 pm »
Hey, just wondering if someone has made a decent maintenance spreadsheet specifically for the bolt? If not I was gonna put something together. I can post it here if people want it. It would be pretty straightforward but easy to use.

What's wrong with the one that is in the owner's manual?
Everything that needs to be checked/adjusted/changed is there, with the correct service intervals.  Just put a check in the appropriate box when/if you've done it.

For me, I like having everything digital. A lot of my files I put on Google Drive so I can pull it up anywhere with my phone. That, and I already misplaced my manual so I need to redo it anyways lol

Ahhhhh, yes - I keep hearing about this "Google" thing.  And the World Wide Web.  And this thing they call a "smartphone".  They sound like really swell ideas.  ;D

Alright I started on the spreadsheet. About halfway done. Gonna have everything the service manual checklist does. I think I'm also gonna include a section to calculate MPG, along with another sheet to list mods on the bike that includes a wishlist for future part wants.

I have one that I built for myself - it's pretty easy to follow, but it's in km, not miles.
I just haven't found a place to post PDF files so everyone can access them, yet, or I'd post it up.

Alright I got it made up. It's not pretty but it's functional. Has the maintenance schedule, MPG calculator and current/wanted mods.

Aspen....
Mind if I move this over to the Technical Discussion? I think this is important enough to make it available to everybody.

I'll pin it so it stays at the top where everybody can find it, and so they can add their own version if they like.

Yeah sure, you might want to erase my current mods/wants before :) I assume you're gonna rehost the file on the forum or somewhere else? As it is it's tied to my drive account so when I start using it, it'll show up for everyone.

Or if you don't have a way of hosting it on the forum I'll just make a copy of it in my drive account and use the copy instead.

OK  - Here's my version of a Maintenance Spreadsheet - I posted it in .doc format so everyone should be able to modify and use it as you please.....

And I'll just move the whole thread to the Technical discussion and pin it..... no need to change anything - and anyone can post their ideas, as well.
