After I got the bike home, I did some research and found out mine was not alone. Others have had the same thing happen. I do know that now checking the axle adjuster on the left side will be part of my pre-ride checks.

PM me if you are close enough to Maiden NC to take a ride out to a shop and let them have a look at your Bolt! I am about to send my seats to MeanCityCycles, which is located there to have them customized. Allen, who runs the place, said he is certain that he could come up with a method of closing the gap between our seat and tank if he could get a Bolt in his shop to look at. You would be doing me a HUGE solid, and meeting a guy who can work miacles with our uncomfortable seats for a fraction of the cost of an ugly mustang..

They are in the mountains so a good ride a way. Tenn is closer to them than we are. Hope someone can help you out tho.

Bump!

Hey all,

just got back to being active on the forums again. It would be awesome to organize a bolt rally of sorts. There still bolt riders out there? I live in Raleigh and work in Morrisville right off Aviation. I ride my bolt to work most days weather permitting.

I setup a notification for this topic so lets bring it back to life!

Hey folks. I just moved to Angier (south of Raleigh). I haven't seen any Bolts out in the wild yet, but I've been looking. I rode to work in Cary and back a couple of days last week. Look forward to running into some of you.

Welcome Fearthehog (again) and Bubba. I recently ran into another bolt owner in Greensboro! Haven't seen many myself. Too bad it's getting cold around NC now.

Nope, I've only had my Bolt out once so far this year. There's been plenty of nice riding days, just have had other things going on.

I bought my Bolt with 1000 miles on it about a month ago and I've already put about 500 miles on it. Last night, I had to return a book to the library, and for some reason it took me about an hour and a half to accomplish. I guess that's what happens when you take the scenic route.

I'm in Durham, near Southpoint. Just a stone's throw from Raleigh. Once the weather warms I'd love to go for a ride!

Charles.
