Brake reservoir hose size

Hi all,

I am looking at making my own 6" forward controls. I will need to replace or extend the hose coming from the rear brake reservoir. Does anyone know what size this is?

I know I can measure it but I would have to bleed the brakes to do it. I am hoping someone knows.

Do you mean length of the line or the banjo fitting size?  The line is about 23" stock length so just add whatever your extension is for your new setup.  Fittings are 3/8" or 10mm.

Nevermind....just re-read your post.  I have no idea what size/length the reservoir hose is.

brake line has M10 banjo fittings on each end for anyone that searches and finds this.

brake reservoir hose i used 3/8" NBR hose, ID is slightly different but works

Rubber that's compatible with gasoline is different than what OEMs use for brake fluid. Most brake fluids will turn the inside of that cheap fuel hose to mush over time.

Correct, that's why the brake reservoir hose needs to be NBR. Same material the stock one is made from
