[Help] In need of a C-Spec windshield
« on: July 17, 2020, 01:14:29 am »
So I’m an idiot... I thought I had an R-Spec since I bought my bike a year ago. The only reason I now know I have a C-Spec is because I’ve ordered and subsequently returned 2 windshields because they don’t fit (thanks to the drag-style bars). Now I know what I’m looking for, I can’t seem to find any windshield or fairing/windshield pairings. Any help would be greatly appreciated in tracking something down. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, clipons. I’ve known them as drag bars but yes those are what I mean

And thank you for looking for a windshield kind sir, I’ve purchased that one actually. Unfortunately it did not fit. But I’ve got a welding friend and he’s modified the mounting hardware so that it does. It sits farther out than it should, but it’s on lol. Thanks guys!

Gotcha...drag bars to me means a flat bar or one with very minor bends & no rise.  How big are you looking?  They have the tiny ones that basically do nothing but cover the top of the headlight & back of the gauge.  One of those old school looking cafe fairings would do a bit more & go along with the cafe look.

I would honestly love a cafe style fairing. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places? I can’t seem to find anything that will fit a C-Spec specifically. Universal windshields may or may not fit because of where my handlebars (and all the things on them) sit.

Most of the fairings I see are universal fit.  I imagine to find one specifically for our bike would cost more.

Any new leads on windshields? Unfortunately I was lead astray but false information when I bought my windshield, as it seems that Puig one I bought doesn't fit a c-spec on the clip-ons.
