seen a few with good paint jobs that looked decent, but most are fairly ugly.

To each his own...everybody has likes & dislikes.  Hyabusa isn't my favorite but I've seen worse.  My #1 pick for the best looking bike is the gen 2 Vmax.  Some people hate it.

Ugly is subjective...some people really like bikes that look like someone cut a lump of tumors from an elephant cankle and put wheels on it.  :D

I've always wanted to get a busa, put a custom wrap on it of Gary Busey's face, and call it the HayaBUSEY.  ;D
