I should receive the Ebay ones in a week or two.  They're stuck in post-import purgatory and have been all week.  >:(

Well, these finally showed up after no updates for two weeks, and over a month total in shipment.  And they're the wrong color.  >:(

I installed them anyway. sigh

What - you didn't want black ??? Hey IMHO the best color for this type of part, matched the frame and the triple clamps.

Cool.

I mean, it's not bad looking.  I wanted gold as an accent to match the rear piggybacks.  I guess I could re-anodize them but that would cost 4X what I paid for these.

They do fit well under the triple, so thanks again for the photos!

Aaaah Yea gold is fine, well rest assured, the black will fade to a pinkish hue in a few yrs. Gold may have just stayed gold-silver. Likely a better color retention situation.
However, throw it in boiling water when it fades and it will go to native aluminum, or buff with wadpol. Put in bleach to help it along.

Cool.

Virus spreaders? Really?

I leave the package untouched for 3 days if its not food/perishable. The insides have been in transit for well over 3 days so its not likely to have any virus. If its food, I use gloves cut it open wearing a mask with a coffee filter soaked in everclear. The insides would likely be fine because again shipping time would have been 3+ days. Typically I have not bought perishable food by mail order, so I've never faced the situation. Some shelf stable foods I would buy and it typically can sit 3 days too.

Cool.

It doesn't even matter if its from China/India or from next-door. Same precautions. Our little family of 3 can not afford to lose any of us for the next maybe 20 yrs.

Its not a question of what is in the package, its a question of what is at stake.

Cool.

Back in the early '90s, I used clip-ons from the Honda Blackbird on my Hawk GT. The original clip-ons were too tall and wide, about where a regular handlebar would put your hands. I did like that they mounted above the triple clamp. Too bad the C-Spec didn't come with those extra 2" of fork tube.

I put fork extenders on a VTX with a raked triple.  VTX forks are 41mm.  Bilski is one place that sold them, can't remember the place I bought from.  I don't imagine it'd be too difficult to find.

Fork extentions aren't as nice as a single tube and can be dangerous depending on the application.
