There're now 10 different sets of cast wheels for the Bolt. 00-00 (high gloss), 10-0X (red stripe), 10-1X (white stripe), 10-2X (red tri-stripe), 10-4X (yellow tri-stripe), 10-5X (dark red tri-stripe), 10-6X (gray tri-stripe), 10-7X (gray stripe), 10-98 and 10-P0 (?). Not sure but I think X means Low Gloss Black.
My BOLT must have 10-2X (red tri-stripe) as there are 3 - 12" long +/- red stripes with BOLT written in the middle as i recall
SO my question does this occur on my BOLT ?
are these a Neon Type WOW effect stripes, when a CARS Headlights shines onto my BOLT riding perpendicular to the Car - like thru an intersection ?
... i was 50 yards away from lighted intersection at Night - a motorcycle rode thru, and there WHEELS Wow affect Glow in the dark

I can't speak for any wheel other than the -10-0X (red stripe) used for years 2015, 2019, and 2020 -- which does NOT "fluoresce," "wow," or "glow" when a light shines on them at night.  You can check this out on your own bike at night (or in a dark garage) by just shining a flashlight on them and see if they reflect back.

OEM rims can't have reflective rims unless it was red in back and amber in front. The Vanderhall 3-wheeler has it's reflectors on the wheels to make it street legal.

Thanks Dr M on glow in the dark advise
Thanks lunkhead on the legality
SO - my conclusion , my Rims (3 - 12" long stripes) do Not glow in the dark (my Profile photo has rear reflector glow - but Not rims
i am concluding that during the DAYTIME my RIMS would give a unique "pulsating" affect of RED Rims as the Tires rotate
difficult to SEE when i am riding it - ha,ha

After 5 years and 25000+ miles, I'm keeping mine.  One thing I LOVE about this bike is it's versatility.  It started stock 1 up, of course.  I added the daytripper seat from saddlemen and the stock sissy bar and it did 2up duty for a couple years.  I also bought the Mustang passenger seat and a red and black Corbin driving seat with detachable saddle bags for longer touring.  I bought a new Fender so that I could undue 4 bolts and change to a 1up bobber.  Detachable windshield and for the summer, a fly screen.

Then I bought a Raider.

Now I have the bolt with drag bars, springer seat, no rear fender, fly screen; set up as a 1up bobber/cafe racer. I get comments all the time on the bolt.  It's kind of weird.  The Raider is this huge monster of a bike with one of the biggest chromiest Vtwins ever made, but the bolt gets way more comments.

Bolt is great. Raider is great.  I'll be keeping both.
