Electric problem

Hello "Bolt-ers"!

I'd like to ask a question about my hog:
For three weeks now the bike has not been starting. It all begun when I used the jump cables after the bike was left outside in the cold for several days. It started it and used it. The next day, it stopped starting completely, not even with the jump cables. I changed the battery for a brand new one, also changed the starter relay and still didn't start. I took it to a mechanic and he used the diagnostics tool to tell me there was a problem with the kickstand and told me change the Flasher Relay Assembly. I did and still no luck (he also charged me 110+taxes for that joke). I have started the bike from the cables hooked on the starter relay using a screwdriver on the negative, so the problem must be in some other relay, perhaps. If anyone has any idea or direction to point me towards, I'd tremendously appreciate it! Thank you in avance.

Oh also, reading the wiring diagram I saw the starting circuit cut-off relay (number 18) as the potential problem but I wasn't able to locate it. Maybe someone knows where that is exactly positioned... Feel free to let me know! Thank you again

And one more detail: I reviewed all the fuses in the fuse box, the main fuse and the fuel injection system fuse, all in good condition. If anyone knows where there might be another fuse, please let me know as well and I'll check!

Did you just do a visual fuse check, or did you do a check with a continuity meter?  Fuses can be blown without appearing to be, so you should always check with a continuity meter or an ohm meter.

I did check them thoroughly with the meter, also removed them, cleaned them and put them back on. I'm ordering a full set to change them just in case as well.

Somewhere you have an open circuit.  You have starter interlocks on your kickstand, on the neutral gear, and on the clutch lever housing on the left side of handlebars, as well as the kill switch and the starter switch on the right side of the handlebars.  You also might have an starter interlock on the upset switch which turns off the engine if the bike is upset or takes a spill. So you might need to check all those.  You really need a service manual so you can know what they look like, where they are, and how to check them.  I believe there is a service manual on this website that may not be your particular year, but still good enough for what you need it for (and it is free.)

 Thank you so much! I searched for the service manual and found it, luckily it's 17-18 and my bike is '17! Gonna get down to it. Thank you again! I'll make sure post my progress eheheh
