Texas Pride
« on: July 29, 2014, 11:49:56 am »
Since I'm blacking everything out as most of us do, I got bored of the silver Bolt decal that came on the tank. Got a Texas flag made instead and wanted it in the same place. I wanted to do something differently than just centering it on the tank, so this is how it came out. It's actually a cool day in Texas today so some air bubbles are still trying to work out when the sun comes out and bakes it. This is obviously not something for everyone, but I figured some would dig it.

Gotta show my love to Texas, sorry!

It is! That is perfect. Surprised that "term" is known across the pond!

Now we're going to meet up and replace your handlebars with some longhorns, replace the seat with a horse saddle, and replace your oil with some bbq sauce.

Looks right as rain right there (said with a thick southern drawl).

HAHA everything sounds great, as long as we can figure out a way to make the BBQ sauce work. I wonder if different levels of spicy will make the octane higher?

And good. I was worried about the location. I argued with myself over and over on where it should go.

Ha ha, nice man. I'm liking it!  Bet you get a lot of friendly nods when your fellow Texans see that.

I sent a pic I found online to Fastsigns and they made it 2 hours later. They have a $20 minimum so that got me 3 of them haha.

And ya I'm hoping It goes over well. I ride with a backpack that I have covered in patches, one being a Texas flag. It's gotten a few compliments too!

Yup, Irish on mother side, Italian on fathers. It's also just a four leaf clover for good luck.

Speaking of Irish....

That's my left forearm. Got it about 5 weeks ago. My dads mom was Irish.

It's a good job you've got long arms, that only just fits!  ;D

Be proud of the person you are and you will become?

It's better than the "I love my Mom/dog/insert name" ones you see.
