Famous Bolt Calender pics
« on: January 22, 2014, 08:13:38 pm »
Today I had a brainstorm for the Bolt Calender for 2015.....  (Ok - maybe it was only a light drizzle...)

Of course, everyone wants the best Bolt pics on it, but....

How about everyone post their best pic with a LOCAL (to you) monument, tourist attraction, well-known event, or something similar and world-famous? Maybe the famous low tides in the Bay of Fundy, or Mt Rushmore? The Arc de Triomphe, or the Tower of London?  There's beautiful and famous places in everyone's back yard that we would love to show off to the world - here's a little way to do it!

I'd LOVE to post a pic of my Bolt at the world-famous Calgary Stampede, or in the Rocky Mountains (but it'll have to wait till spring...).

I think Coccia has set the bar pretty high with pics of his Bolt at the Colosseum in Rome!

We can all vote on the best dozen or so to make up a calender for next year!

Good idea, I know a good location not to far from home. Gonna be a challenge to get it though as I may have to ride on the beach. 0.0

Good Idea, I'll make sure to take pictures this summer if I come across something famous in Quebec :)

Since Quebec City is the only walled city in North America - maybe a portion of the wall - or the old city .... Such a historic place.

Or are you going all around la belle province?

I meant the province yeah. I'm actually in Laval near Montreal but I'll sure go to Quebec this summer anyways, got some friends there.

You can be the first motorcyclist to ride his moto over Niagara Falls! I don't want to speak for ShakerNorm, but if you got a photo of that, I'm pretty sure you'd make the cover! ;-)

I know we got this amazing natural wonder here and I can't get my precious near it!

Maybe I can cheat and get it close to the Park sign at least or ask the Park Rangers if its ok if  they can escort me along the sidewalks (I doubt they'd go for that though).

near? I say take your bolt to the top! jk
you could also take one with the Burj Al Arab in the back ground, IMO it looks better than the tower and its known worldwide anyway :P.
