Hello everyone,

I joined this forum about a week ago but never had a chance to properly introduce myself to the community. So with that being said, hello everyone! I just purchased a 2016 Yamaha bolt last year and have been riding since.

A little about myself; I have no previous moto experience. I have never been on dirt bike or even a quad for that matter. It wasn't until early 2016 that I finally decided it was something I wanted to do and learn more about. So I took the safety course and bought myself a bike shortly after I was able to scrap up enough pennies. I have been riding for about a year now and my perspective has vastly changed. I did not really how large and awesome of a community I will become part of and all the support that goes with. Riding is just one of the many fun perks to having a bike.

I bought a Bolt instead of the cliche HD because I wanted to try something different. Before making my purchase I did a lot of research (considering I have 0 knowledge base when it comes to bikes or any auto stuff for that matter) and I kept coming back to the Yamaha. Can't say I am experiencing any cognitive dissonance!

Besides owning a Yamaha  Bolt, I joined this forum because I wanted to take some time and learn from other Bolt owners. Obvoiusly now that i am addicted I wanted to learned everything I can and modify my bike so that it become my own unique creation. So I will be surely poking and sorting thru threads time to time to see if I can find any sorts of information, but it will also be common for me to post a question if I cant seem to find anything.

Thanks all for letting me be a part of the community.
-Mike
