Shows you can't trust just anyone on the forums unless they are a verified company like SS or L&M.

Hopefully everything is resolved correctly for all those members who paid their money.

Well...that's one of the things that I asked in a few threads and I think I even PM'ed Ace about this...

Whether, "non-sanctioned" (contributing) vendors should be allowed to sell their wares on the site, when we have vendors like SS and L&M, that are "sanctioned" (contributing) vendors...I don't think it is fair to them...

But hey...what the hell do I know...

I agree one-hundred percent with ya Art. It is almost daily that someone post on the forums offering some type of product to sell for the Bolt.. and then disappear when questions arise. It doesn't look good for them or anyone one who is trying to sell their product.

I understand that some members have not received their orders, are out some money and/or can not contact Josh at Hammered Performance...and as we all know now...he has "unpublished" his website, will not answer his emails and his phone goes directly to voice mail, to which he does not respond...

Nothing positive there...but MAYBE...he had an accident, is sick, unable to communicate or something else happened...I doubt any of those to be the case but you never know...

Here's something interesting that I found on line yesterday...

Look at the listed phone number in the URL below...it is the same number as listed in the Whois "hammeredperformance.com"...but his company was named JC Performance back in 2010...its probably all bogus anyway...his full name is Josh S. Hughes and lives in Richland, WA...

Paypal has been pretty good about Claims and resolutions, recently...

Its takes a week or so after you file a complaint because they send an email to the seller and the seller has so many days to respond to them and then some more time to resolve the issue...

It IS a total nightmare for the buyer, making the claim, since it wasn't their fault...but Paypal has to draw the line somewhere, I guess...

Hope you get a good resolution...

I purchased a FE-1 on the 11th of this month. After not having received a confirmation or tracking a week later I attempted to contact him through his website and that's when I realized it was "down". At that point i contacted him via the email address that PayPal provided.

He replied within an hour, sharing far too much personal information with me. To sum it up, he was having problems on the homefront and was unable to get into his shop anymore. He stated that he was going to be able to get in that weekend to grab the merchandise he needed to fulfill his outstanding orders and would send me a tracking number right away. That was last Thursday and I still have yet to hear anything.

I want that heinous plastic gone!!!!

Not only is his website "down" but apparently he doesn't have access to internet, i've sent him an email both from my email account and through paypal resolution process and last night I upped it to a claim. I still want the part that I paid for,,,,or the money back.

Not doubting you hosa, but your account is only 5 days old and this is your only post.  I am not trying to be offensive, just having people be weary and make your claims if need be.

Josh was an active member here, and if he was able to reach you, I am sure he could just as easily pop in here and explain the situation to everyone... Like a professional.

@BolTron...should change name to Sherlock ...good observation.
Good things come to those who wait...greater things happen to those who get off their arse and do something about it.

I purchased a Bolt last week, happened upon this forum the same night and then joined. I was not aware that there was a probation period for new members to share facts that directly related to a relevant thread.

I ordered a part. It didn't arrive in a timely fashion. I emailed him. He replied and that's what he said.

First let me say  congratulations on your purchase and welcome.

I  wasn't personally attacking you, but I'd like to think you can see where I am coming from.  I've been ripped off (not by hammered) before and I'm just sharing my experience w/ others to avoid falling for the same outcome (I never got my money back).

I stated previously, I'm not doubting who you are, and your previous post, this could all just be a coincidence. If you say this is a fact... please share an email address or at least show the email so that others might decide for themselves.

I still don't quite understand your skepticism or this coincidence you speak of.

This is the very first forum I have ever joined. This is the very first post I have ever made. I did it with the sole intention of sharing information to help others learn and reach a common goal, which is what I thought these forums were all about.

That being said, I will gladly share my factual information to help others. The email address that I sent mt message to and he replied from is joshhughes37@gmail.com.

You're right, and in this case, the common goal is to get the good people (you included) of this forum their money back or in touch with Josh. As an active member here I am just trying to do my part, also.

I was elaborately scammed on a forum, where a Facebook account, website and a phone number was all included as a reference to a legit person and product. Long story short, it all ended up being fake and a group of people were out of money. So I am always weary of these situations.

These scams happen a lot - chopcult.com has a whole thread dedicated to this specific thing. Its purpose is to out bad vendors/forum dealers.

I do apologize if I have made you feel unwelcome. Hopefully everyone directly involved will move on from this bad situation soon.

Sincerely - enjoy and welcome.

It's not that hard to understand. Maybe since this is your first forum...anyways, I've seen first hand on several different forums people from different companies that peddle their wares on forums create fake accounts and pose as customers with varying experiences related to the company of topic. It happens, it's the internet, don't be offended.
