Custom stock seat

Has anybody ever thought about taking the stock seat and trimming the sides down to fit the bike better? I want the low and mean seat which sits lower but it's pretty pricey at $380. Are there any other seat options  that you like?

I voted the "other" seat.  ;)







Seriously though - I haven't seen many alternative seat set ups other than L&M or the springer types.
