You'll want to do better than the stock pillion seat or your wife will beat you with a frying pan..... it's not a great ride back there on that thing.  The Mustang passenger seat is much wider and thicker - much more comfy. I'm not sure if Corbin has one to match yours, or not. By now, they should.

Yeah, just called Corbin, and they don't. Thanks for the recommendation on the Mustang. I'll have a look.

I would suggest comfort first, grips, bars, forward controls etc.

Performance second, intake, exhaust, tuner, tires....

A lot is going to depend on personal preference.  I know for myself that new taller bars and grips made a big difference in comfort which in turn made riding more enjoyable.  If the stock bars are comfortable for you maybe tires would be a good start?

Good suggestion
Any recommendations on which grips to get?  I was thinking of getting heated ones, but I don't like the big module and I don't know how comfortable they are (being in Canada and stretching the riding season)

Also, when changing the intake, do you need to get the tuner at the same time?  or can you upgrade the intake then buy the tuner when funds are available?

Don't know much about the heated grips living in the tropics but can tell you that the ECU flush can be done down the track. Might run a little lean & spit/pop a bit but that's about it.

I've actually spoken to lots of people that enjoy the spitting & popping that's caused with upgraded intakes & exhausts. My guess is you'll get over it quick & opt for the flush.

An ECU reflash will not make it "run a little lean".  In fact, it is the opposite - the reflash adds fuel at various points of the RPM/fuel curve to eliminate the marginally lean stock condition.

I think he was saying that you can put off the flash, and just live with the stock lean condition and associated popping.

Yep, upon re-reading it, I'm sure that's what he meant.  Sorry!
