Looking for recommendations for a summer jacket.  My Belstaff is way to warm!  Thanks in advance!

I have the Dainese Air Flux jacket. It's a mesh textile material with armour. It's my go to jacket for 20c an above, great air flow and looks good. Plus it's on sale at Revzilla.

I have a Fly mesh cloth jacket with armor in the elbows, shoulders, and a spine pad down the back.  It's good while you moving.  On 90 degree + days and high humidity, it is a bear when you stop.  I love it except in rush hour stop and go traffic.

There's tons of them out there.  I vote protection over cool or "COOL!" any day.  just sweat a lot, ha ha.

I use the Bilt techno mesh jacket that I got from cyclegear. Airflow is good throughout and has the armor in the elbow and shoulders with a back padoing insert. It's my main jacket I wear here in Texas with the heat the way it gets around here. I have worn it for over a year now with no issues at all.

My vote is for the Fly CoolPro 2 jacket. Completely mess, and it is one of the few that doesn't have black panels on the shoulders. Comes with CE armor in shoulders and elbows with pad for spine. $135 and several colors.
Wife has an Xtreme mesh jacket that's silver with black shoulders and elbows that aren't mess over the armor and says those areas are definitely hotter than the rest of the coat, but it was like $60 from a friend for a coat that was used once. Eventually she'll get the ladies version of the CoolPro2.
Be safe and Bolt on.

I have the river road mesh jacket and love it except for when I'm stopped in 100 degree weather.  The only problem with it is the zipper pull is weak and broke within the first month of having the jacket.  I looped a piece of 550 cord through the remaining part of the pull and it has worked fine for over a year.

It's 110 this afternoon and the lizards are looking for shade, which jacket would you suggest? 8)

Hey Rude, if I carried the 9qt resevoir and wore my full face helmet I'd look just like and old astronaut! 8)

Looking like an old astronaut could be pretty "cool", ha see what I done there. But hey riding is riding no matter how you look. The hand held option could be strapped to bike and look just like a lunch box. Some quick disconnects for easy on and off at stops. Wired up to the bike you got it made in the shade.

Just looked at the prices and the old saying less is more is true here. The smaller system is like twice as much as the bigger system. What the heck.
